Creativity is not something we view in isolation, it is an essential feature of all aspects of learning. It is enjoyable, motivating and it allows the children to express themselves in a multitude of different ways. It also allows them to and learn about themselves and the world they live in.
Children may have differing abilities and their individual talents may vary. However, here at Gendros Primary we believe it is important that they have as many opportunities to experiment with a wide range of techniques and materials as possible. Much of the art work that children do is likely to be related to the rest of the curriculum but they are also encouraged to develop subject specific skills.
