Welcome to the Gendros Primary School Parents & Guardians Association (PGA) Web Page!
The Gendros' Parents and Guardians Association (PGA) is dedicated to enhancing the school experience for all children. Our primary objective is to ensure that every student benefits from our fundraising efforts and support initiatives. We strive to create an inclusive and vibrant environment where both children and parents feel valued and engaged.
At the PGA, we understand the importance of making our events and activities accessible to everyone. That's why we accept payments through convenient methods like QR codes and mobile phones, making it easier for families to participate and contribute.
Our goal is to provide value for money while fostering a sense of community. We aim to organise events and activities that not only raise funds but also bring joy and create lasting memories for our children and their families.
Through our collective efforts, we can enrich the educational journey of every child at Gendros, providing them with additional resources, opportunities, and experiences that will positively impact their growth and development.
The Parent Guardian Association (PGA) plays a vital role in enriching the school experience for our children. Our primary goal is to implement positive changes and raise additional funds to support educational trips, classroom activities, and extracurricular opportunities.
One of our major initiatives is hosting five fun-filled discos throughout the academic year. These discos not only provide an opportunity for children to socialise and dance but also serve as a fundraising event. For just £1 per child, they receive a bag of sweets upon entry, and we also offer a variety of snacks, drinks, and sweets for purchase. However, our main focus remains on creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for the children.
Additionally, we actively support the two annual school fetes and raffles, aiming to bring together children, families, and the community. These events feature a range of engaging activities, including games, face painting, and various stalls offering crafts, food, toys, and more.
We manage snack stalls several times per term, catering for all dietary requirements.
Furthermore, we operate a second-hand uniform shop, providing an affordable and sustainable solution for families.
All the funds raised through these efforts directly contribute to enhancing the educational experience for each classroom during the academic year. By supporting our initiatives, families play a crucial role in ensuring that every child benefits from the additional resources and opportunities provided by the PGA.
Our uniform shop provides pre-loved branded uniform at accessible prices.
